[Lore prologue]
before PSYCHWARD placed its flag in the ground... it thrived under its legacy company, STARS PROTECTION LLC. During a security mission for a resource depot, many active contractors on site were targeted in a well coordinated ambush. shellshocked by mortar fire, and followed by an assault force that used a 18-wheeler as a trojan horse before the staff on site could get a chance to inspect it.as the firefight perused, QRF (Quick Response Forces) were also ambushed and cut off while enroute to the flashpoint. scout positions were also targeted by mortar fire, which prevented any early warning of the attack. Once additional and remaining QRF forces arrived on scene, the rival PMC fled the Depot with many of the resources lost. This standoff resulted in many lives lost, and many of our brothers and sisters today are missed.A thorough investigation was conducted after the incident. It was very apparent that this attack was a result of compromised operation security, and that someone within was sharing information with the rival company. Later on, it was then discovered that the Director of the STARs protection LLC. was in communication with said rival PMC, and was bribed with a large payout to leak intel on the operation. Soon after, the survivors revolted and executed the director due to their treasonous acts that lead to bloodshed, and the company was revamped as pyschward...
